Instruction
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُم مَادِحاً صَاحِبَهُ لاَ مَحَالَةَ فَلْيَقُلْ: …
He said: If anyone of you is compelled to praise his companion, then he should say:
أَحْسِبُ فُلاَناً وَاللَّهُ حَسِيبُهُ، وَلاَ أُزَكِّي عَلَى اللَّهِ أَحَداً
… أَحْسِبُهُ – إِنْ كَانَ يَعْلَمُ ذَاكَ – كَذَا وَكَذَا
… If he knows those qualities of him, he may add: I consider him to be such-and-such.
Transliteration
Aḥsibu fulānan wa-llāhu ḥasībuhu, walā uzakkī ʿalā llāhi aḥadā
Translation
I consider so-and-so [to be…], and Allah is his Reckoner. I do not declare anyone pure before Allah.
