Congratulation
بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ فِي الْمَوْهُوبِ لَكَ، وَشَكَرْتَ الْوَاهِبَ، وَبَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ، وَرُزِقْتَ بِرَّهُ
Reply
Instruction
وَيَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ الْمُهَنَّأُ فَيَقُولُ:
The parent replies:
بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ، وَجَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيْراً، وَرَزَقَكَ اللَّهُ مِثْلَهُ، وَأَجْزَلَ ثَوَابَكَ
Transliteration
Congratulation
Bāraka llāhu laka fī l-mawhūbi laka, wa shakarta l-wāhiba, wa balagha ashuddahu, wa ruziqta birrah
Reply
The parent replies:
Bāraka llāhu laka wa bāraka ʿalayka, wa jazāka llāhu khayran, wa razaqaka llāhu mithlahu, wa ajzala thawābak
Translation
Congratulation
May Allah bless the child granted to you, enable you to thank the Giver, allow the child to reach maturity, and bless you with the child’s dutifulness.
Reply
The parent replies:
May Allah bless you and shower His blessings upon you, reward you with goodness, grant you a similar blessing, and make your reward abundant.
